This is the view while driving along Beach Drive, which I do sometimes because it's not very far away and it's a very nice drive. You can see it's so beautiful that it's very necessary to park and enjoy the view while NOT trying to drive! Be on the lookout for more pictures of this gorgeous view coming soon!

This is the Gate of Harmonious Interest, which leads to the oldest Chinatown in Canada. Lights, life and action make this a fun place to be! I was driving right by this gate when my eyes caught site of it, I turned around and made a point to drive under this gate. Then I turned around and drove under it a second time for good measure!

When I was out at Goldstream Provincial Park, it was just after salmon spawning season, so the entire basin area was a sea of eagles. I couldn't begin to count how many were there, feeding on the salmon. Quite a sight in deed. Next year I will show up DURING spawning season instead of after and avoid the smelly aftermath of salmon spawning, so I'm glad I saw the eagles this time.

When I say "moss covered ancient trees" you can see here that I mean exactly what I say. It is certainly no exaggeration. in some areas, the moss is just dripping off the trees and it's very enchanting, like walking through a story book. You'd think it would be scary or creepy, but it's really not. So far, I haven't encountered any biting insects, poisonous plants or snakes or anything negative while hiking in the woods around here... of course I didn't even KNOW about the bear population.
