| Came within 5 feet
of 3 harbor seals. All three just sat there with their heads above
the water, quite happy to look at us while we looked at it. They
really remind me of wet dogs. A fish of about 10 inches jumped a
foot out of the water on Mark's right, which was interesting. We
were eating cookies when we drifted into the sea plane runway on the outer
harbor and the port authority harbor patrol boat had to triple-toot us and
charge out and have a bit of a word about the sea plane that was landing
where we had been... but he really didn't yell or anything, so it wasn't
too bad. |
